N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Bismarck National Weather Service kept everyone up to date with the latest in wind chills through the weekend.

According to the service, Oakes, Carrington, and Jamestown saw some of the lower windchill’s over the past weekend. As a windchill advisory persisted through the weekend, Saturday was reported as the coldest day so far this winter season.

The service recorded a negative 41 windchill in Oakes over the weekend. A negative 41 windchill was also reported in Carrington and negative 39 reported in Jamestown. The coldest windchill’s were reported in Rugby with negative 43 on Saturday night.
