CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Milnor/North Sargent will play Enderlin for the championship tomorrow afternoon in the 2016 Barnes County Boys Basketball Tournament. Complete recap from the second day of the tournament is below: 

#1 Milnor/North Sargent 79 #4 Maple Valley 44 

Milnor/North Sargent outscored Maple 26-11 in the second quarter and forced 18 Maple Valley turnovers in their semifinal win.

Jacob Hanson scored a team high 15 points, while Masen Olsen added another 14 points for the Bulldogs. Milnor/North Sargent shot 65.3% from the floor and went 10-10 from the free throw line. 

Hunter Smith had a game high 20 points for Maple Valley, who shot 34.0% from the field in the game.  

#2 Enderlin 53 #3 LaMoure-Litchville-Marion 47

The Enderlin Eagles jumped out to a 14-6 lead after the first quarter of play and never looked back in their semifinal win over LaMoure-Litchville-Marion. 

Graham Hurlburt led the Eagles with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, while Peter Lindgren chipped in 17 points. 

Quinn Alo and Brady Warcken each scored 13 points for the Loboes in the loss.  

#5Griggs County Central 69 #8 Barnes County North 33 

Griggs County Central forced Barnes County North into 24 turnovers and limited the Bison to 35.9 % shooting in the game. 

Jayden Grover scored a tournament high 31 points for Griggs County Central. 

Allen Contreras recorded a double-double for Barnes County North with 18 points and 13 rebounds. 

#6 Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page 50 #7 Sargent Central 35

Ethan Brown led Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page with 28 points and 12 rebounds in their win over Sargent Central.

The Cadets couldn’t get a flow on offense, as they only shot 25.0% from the field and 33% from the free throw line, while FSHP shot 46.3% from the floor. 

Justin Lehmann paced Sargent Central with 13 points.
