CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Valley City State University snapped a five game losing streak to the University of Jamestown with a 75-69 win on Tuesday night in men’s basketball.
VCSU (15-4 overall, 4-0 NSAA) led 39-34 at halftime, however Jamestown (9-6 overall, 1-1 NSAA) would tie an eventually take the lead midway thru the second half.
Jamestown was up 7 points with 8:29 remaining in the game before VCSU would comeback and escape with a win.
Jayden Ferguson put the game away with a made three-point basket with 14 seconds remaining, which gave the Vikings a four point lead.
VCSU hosts Silver Lake College on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. inside the W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse for their next game. You can listen to the game on AM 1490 KOVC.
