N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Private instructors in Jamestown have waiting lists for lessons, but a new school opening in Jamestown hopes to alleviate that.

The idea for the school came from Mark Reeves, who saw the need for a musical school after finding out that most private instructors in the community had wait lists for new students.

The Two Rivers Performing Arts School became the product of meeting that need.

The school will give lessons in Voice, Piano, Guitar, Drums, Music Production and Music Theory along with Composition. Reeves stated that the school will be located in the old Red Plum Media building at 116 2nd Avenue South in Jamestown.

The school will be able to hold between 80 to 100 students and classes will be offered for students through adults. The school is still accepting interested individuals. You can click here to learn more about the Two Rivers Performing Arts School.
