N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – During the Chamber of Commerce Local and Regional Issues meeting on Tuesday, January 12th, there will be a special presentation from Emily Wright, Director of the Grand Forks Community Land Trust.

Wright’s group was able to build affordable housing units using the land trust program and wants to share what could be done in Jamestown with the same program. Executive Director of the Chamber Becky Thatcher-Keller stated that it’ll be an opportunity for residents to learn more about the housing situation.

Executive Director of the Stutsman County Housing Authority David Klein will be available as well to help answer questions about housing in the area. The meeting will be held at Shady’s on Tuesday, January 12th starting at noon and is open to the public.
