N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Gas prices have been a treat so far in the ending days of 2015 and low prices are expected to continue through 2016.

Gas prices are the lowest they’ve been since 2009. Crude oil prices have dropped recently to around $37 a barrel, meaning gas prices have been much cheaper. According to the website GasBuddy.com, unleaded fuel prices averaged $2.40 per gallon in 2015. The current average in the state is $1.88 with $1.69 being the lowest in the state.

Jamestown gas prices are around the state average at $1.89 per gallon for unleaded gas.
