(NewsDakota.com) – It was a Monday matinee at the Jamestown Civic Center between two NAIA women’s basketball teams; Jamestown and Ashford. The Jimmies knocked down 14 triples to win 72-46. Makenzie Bebo lead the team with a career-high 21 including six three-pointers.
Jamestown jumped out to a quick 8-0 lead and were never seriously threatened the rest of the way. Ashford was missing two players and had a roster of just seven heading into the game against a Jimmie team that prides itself on depth.
The Jimmies finish their non-conference games with a record of 16-4 and now will head into a break before their conference-opener against VCSU on January 20th.
