S.D. – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has announced its seventh edition of the Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week Monday. The NSAA conference selected Georgia Williams of Valley City State (N.D.) for this week’s honor.

North Star Athletic Association Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week Georgia Williams – Valley City State (N.D.) – 5’10” – Junior – Guard – Townsville, Australia – Williams averaged 16 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists per game as Valley City State (N.D.) went 2-0 record against a pair of NAIA Division I teams in Billings, Mont. She shot 11-of-21 from the field (57.4 percent), including 7-of-10 from the 3-point arc. Williams scored 13 points and pulled down 5 rebounds in VCSU’s 64-62 victory over 20th-ranked Rocky Mountain (Mont.). She followed up with a 19-point and 3-rebound performance in helping Vikings garnered their fifth straight victory, a 68-64 victory over Montana Western.
