(NewsDakota.com) – The 100th season of Jimmie football will commence with a new face on the sidelines calling the shots.
Josh Kittell has been named the 20th head football coach at the University of Jamestown. Kittell is a very familiar name to most of Jimmie Nation, having played at the University of Jamestown from 2005-08 and was the offensive coordinator for one season in 2014.
Kittell spent 2015 as an offensive assistant at NDSU, where he helped the Bison reach a 5th straight FCS Championship Game.
In his one season at UJ as the offensive coordinator, he helped Beau Erikkson wipe his own name from the Jimmie record book. Erikkson, a three-year starter, had career-highs in touchdown passes, completions, yards and completion percentage with Kittell calling the offense.
