N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Blue Jays routed the Valley City Hi-Liners in both the girls and boys basketball games inside Jerry Meyer Arena on Tuesday night.
The Jays won 57-26 in the girls game over the Hi-Liners. Taylor Schmeichel and Bailey Lamp each scored 13 points for Jamestown (3-2 overall, 2-2 WDA) in the win, while Brenna Dieterle paced Valley City (0-4 overall, 0-3 EDC) with 12 points.
In the boys game, Jamestown shot 63% from the floor in the first half and took a 53-26 halftime lead.
The Jays (2-3 overall, 1-3 WDA) would go on to win 85-53 over the Hi-Liners, behind a 26 point performance from Noah Wanzek.
Levi Nix paced Valley City (2-2 overall, 1-1 EDC) with 14 points in the game.
