N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill shelter that relies on the donations of individuals in the area and they are in need this holiday season.
Board President Matt Opsahl stated that there are many ways for individuals to help the shelter during the holidays, but also year-round.
Opsahl pointed out that during the winter season, the society sets up a tree at the Buffalo Mall with pictures and information on all the pets they have up for adoption.
Individuals can also help by volunteering their time at the shelter. For more information, you can call 701-252-0747. The shelter is located 2 miles East of Jamestown off of I-94.
