N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals traveled to Maddock on Saturday afternoon for a non-region match-up with the Wildcats of Benson County.  Carrington defeats the Wildcats 50-48.  Carrington is now 3-0, BC drops to 0-4.  

The Cardinals led by seven points at halftime.  Benson County pulled within two points in the fourth quarter after Lane Ritterman drilled a 3-pointer just before time expired.  With .08 left, Carrington inbounced the ball under the bucket of Benson County but kept the ball away from the Wildcats to secure the victory.  The Cardinals were led by Junior Bryce Edland with 20.  BC was led by Ritterman with 14.  Sophomore Garrett Bickett fouled out in the fourth quarter with 14 points.  

In the JV game, Carrington beat BC 48-39, Drew Page led the way with 11 points.
