N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – 23 area youth from across the state earned the North Dakota Farmers Union Torchbearer award on December 12th.

A special ceremony held during their annual convention recognized each student’s achievement. The Torchbearer Award is the highest honor a senior youth can achieve in Farmers Union. Five consecutive years of senior youth work must be completed to be eligible.

At the end of the ceremony, each Torchbearer recited the pledge led by Bailey Bitz of Napoleon.
