N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Salvation Army has announced that they are still behind on their Red Kettle Campaign goal by almost 30%.

Major Tim Nauta stated that the goal of $156,000 has been set and reached in the past, but the group is in danger of not making the goal for the second year in a row.

Major Nuata stated that the services they provide are offered on a day-to-day basis and if cut, will affect many individuals who need them.

Kettles will remain set-up in the community until December 24th, but the Salvation Army will continue to accept any help that is given towards their campaign through January.
