N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Heavy snowfall hit the state and James River Valley overnight and more is expected as a winter weather watch continues through this evening.
According to the Bismarck National Weather Service, 5 inches of snow were recorded earlier this morning with more expected today. Meteorologist Bill Abeling stated that as snow continues to fall, areas will see drifting with winds picking up.
The winter watch continues until 6 PM tonight. Drive for the conditions and allow yourself time to arrive at your destination.
