N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Valley City man was seriously injured in a rollover crash Monday around 7a.m. in Stutsman County.

The driver of the pickup Todd Christensen tells KOVC Radio that he lost control of the vehicle on black ice and it rolled. He said fire & rescue crews had to extricate his passenger Jim Zimba after the crash. Zimba is in serious condition in a Fargo hospital.

Christensen said he and two female passengers were treated for bumps and bruises after the crash.

Highway Patrol Sgt. Tom Herzig told KOVC Radio news that highway patrol troopers responded to several crashes along Interstate 94 from Valley City to the Crystal Springs rest area on Monday, December 14.
