N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Workplace violence and mass shootings have been at the forefront of numerous mediums in the past month.
A workplace violence or mass shooting can happen anywhere and at any time; even right here in North Dakota. Foster County Emergency Manager Jess Earle has released information that could assist individuals to be more prepared for a similar incident closer to home.
Earle states that situational awareness is very important in order to be more prepared in the event of a mass shooting. “See Something, Say Something” was created by the Department of Homeland Security and being aware of your surroundings is a great way to remain prepared.
Earle also stated that the best way to be prepared in the event of a mass shooting is to have a plan in place like they do at the Foster County Courthouse.
