N.D. (NewsDakota.com) -The Valley City Hi-Liner wrestling won their third straight dual of the season with a 81-0 win over Fargo North on Tuesday night.
Valley City wrestled almost perfect. A perfect score would have been 84-0, 14 pins or forfeits.
The Hi-Liners improved to 3-0 in the EDC and sits alone in first place.
The wrestlers of the night were at 113lbs Jaustin Opatz with a hard fought 10-8 win. Noah Kaber at 182lbs also executed a nice headlock to get the pin in a tough match and at 220 Junior Drew Jacobson picked up his first varsity pin.
On the Junior Varsity side Freshman David Peterson went 2-0 with 2 pins and Freshmen Sage Kvien also went 2-0 with 2 pins.
