S.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Brequan Tucker is pretty good at basketball. The NAIA All-American has been on a mission lately and a trip to Aberdeen to battle Northen State in an exhibition game didn’t slow him down. The Jimmies lost the game, 87-82, but Tucker poured in a game-high 37.
“Every night [Tucker] steps on the floor, he’s out to prove he’s the best player on the floor,” said head coach Danny Neville. “And tonight he was.”
It won’t count as a loss for Jamestown, but it’s another confidence builder for the teams leading scorer. Tucker lead the Jimmies with 31 in a win Saturday over Cardinal Stritch.
The Jimmies will head to Moorhead tonight for another exhibition against MSU-Moorhead. Tip-off is scheduled for 7pm.
