CROSSE, WI (NewsDakota.com) – A rare November conference game for the University of Jamestown men’s basketball team Friday in La Crosse, WI battling Viterbo, one of the new kids in the NSAA. It was a back-and-forth game that saw double-digit lead changes in each half, before the Jimmies came away with a 63-61 win.

Jake Hagler knocked down a pair of free throws with less than 10 seconds left to put UJ up by two possessions. Viterbo added a tip-in at the buzzer, but it was inconsequential.

Brequan Tucker lead four Jimmies in double-figures with 14 points.

On Saturday, the Jimmies lost a 91-78 exhibition game to Bemidji State. Their next game will also be an exhibition on Tuesday against Minot State at 7pm.
