JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As the season of cold has come, it is this time that individuals need to be sure their carbon monoxide detectors are working properly.
Jamestown Fire Chief Jim Ruther pointed out in a release that every year in America, more than 150 people die from accidental, non-fire related carbon monoxide poisoning associated with consumer products. Ruether stated that in the community, there is a rise in carbon monoxide calls.
