N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Cass County Sheriff’s Office report that a Horace, ND man was hurt by an explosion from an illegal firework on Thursday evening.

58 year-old Steven Green sustained serious injury to his right hand when an illegal firework similar to an M-80 blew up. Green was taken to a Twin Cities hospital for treatment of his injuries. There was no damage to any property.

Deputies are continuing their investigation.
