N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota State University took advantage of 22 Valley City State University turnovers in their 69-49 win in men’s college basketball on Wednesday night at Scheels Arena.

The Bison scored 23 points off of Viking turnovers in the game and limited VCSU to just 9-27 shooting in the second half from the field, after the Bison carried a 28-26 lead into halftime.

Justyn Galloway paced the Vikings with 12 points on 5-10 shooting from the floor. LJ Booth scored 9 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for VCSU as well. 

Paul Miller led the Bison in the scoring column with 17 points on 6-13 shooting. A.J. Jacobson and Kory Brown each chipped in 14 points for NDSU.

VCSU played in their second straight exhibition game and will travel to Superior, Wisconsin for their next game on Friday against Minnesota-Crookston at 5 p.m.
