N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has announced that state-wide restrictions go into effect tomorrow into Thursday with gusts expected to reach over 60 miles per hour.
Captain Eldon Mehrer stated that the advisory pertains to high-profile, long-load type, and permitted over-dimensional vehicles.
North Dakota law restricts movement of high-profile vehicles when high winds or other conditions may cause the vehicle or attachment to swerve, whip, sway, or fail to follow in the path of the towing vehicle. The notice is also for vehicles that don’t follow regular restrictions.
