N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Donations, volunteer work, and dedication have made the opening of the new Jamestown bus depot a great success.
On November 16th, the new project wrapped up and opened to the public at 119 2nd Avenue SE. Charlie Kourajian was a large part of the project. He stated that the bus line is important to the community because it is the only East-West travel service offered in the area.
Grants from the City of Jamestown, JSDC, and the community allowed the $20,000 project to finish. Kourajian pointed out that the depot will be run by volunteers and will be equipped to sell tickets by the end of the month.
