N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Downtown Association has announced that this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Tuesday, November 24th at the Civic Center.

According to the department, this year’s tree was selected from the home of Jay Wagner at 1222 7th Avenue SE and is over 40 feet tall. The tree cutting and trimming was done by the city street department and moved by Sherbenske Inc. The Jamestown Fire Department will be placing the lights and decorations.

Following, the Choralaires will sing holiday songs and coffee and hot chocolate will be served at Shady’s.
