N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – At 16 year-old male was killed after crashing a 2013 Honda dirt bike into a pipeline that was under construction yesterday.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 16 year-old was in a harvested field 12 miles northeast of Belfield at around 5:45 PM when he struck the pipeline and was thrown from the dirt bike. The report shows that the bike was not equipped with headlights or taillights. The male was not wearing a helmet and died from injuries sustained.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
