N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – What might be considered a holiday for some begins this Friday in North Dakota; it’s deer hunting season.

The North Dakota Game & Fish has reported tags that have been allocated for the year. Biologist Doug Leier stated that this year’s tag allocation numbers have been the lowest in the last 40 years.

Leier stated that even though there was a low number of allocated tags, there is still plenty of other hunting opportunities in the state.
