N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The new Jamestown Bus Depot project is scheduled to be completed soon and open to public use on Monday, November 16th at 119 2nd Avenue Southeast.

According to Charlie Kourajian, the parishioners at First Congregational Church of Christ were instrumental in allowing the garage of their parking lot to be remolded for a local bus depot. Grants from the City of Jamestown, a recent $5,000 grant from the JSDC, and donations from community minded people helped to fund the project.

All work was done by volunteers and the depot will be run by volunteers as well. The depot is not ready to sell tickets, but will be able to do so at the end of November.
