N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  Junior middle hitter Carmen Pederson had seven of the 11 stuff blocks Monday night to help the Cardinals defeat the Thunder of Medina/Pingree/Buchanan three sets to one, (25-15, 21-25, 25-14, 25-24).  Carrington improves to 23-6 overall, MPB drops to 28-4.

Junior Abigail Jarrett had a match high 35 assists for Carrington, Taylor Kutz led the way with 18 kills.  Jordan Thomas for MPB had a match high in aces and kills, six aces and 19 kills.  

Next up for Carrington will be the District 5 Tourney on Thursday at Barnes County North High School in Leal.  No. 3 Carrington will play No. 6 Barnes County North around 7:30pm.  The entire tourney can be heard on TED FM 98.3/102.7 and newsdakota.com, starting at 2:45pm with No. 1 Lamoure against No. 8 Litchville/Marion-Montpelier.
