N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The cities of Fullerton,  Edgeley, Ellendale, LaMoure and surrounding areas are asked to ration water usage for the next 24 hours.

According to a release, water line maintenance is scheduled near the Water Treatment Plant South of LaMoure. Reservoirs are very low, so residents are asked to ration water usage. Water will also be discolored with a reddish yellow tint from iron deposits. Residents can expect the discoloration for the next week.

Water is safe to drink, but not to wash light clothing.
