N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Safe Shelter of Jamestown has teamed up with the University of Jamestown, National Guard and Cause North Dakota to bring in the Clothesline Project.

Mary Thysell with Safe Shelter Jamestown stated that the project features shirts that symbolize different types of domestic violence in the state. She pointed out that the project was first created in 1995 and has since grown in size.

The display will be at the University of Jamestown’s Reiland Fine Arts Center today from 10 AM to 7 PM. Following the display will be a 15 minute video entitled “Telling Amy’s Story”. The event is free and open to the public.
