N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  For the first time in Carrington School history, the Cardinals Varsity Wrestling team has been invited to the Clash Wrestling Tourney held in Rochester, Minnesota on Friday and Saturday, January 1-2, 2016.  A total of 32 teams from 13 states will participate in the dual style tourney, including teams from California, Illinois, Arizona, Alabama, Utah, Minnesota and Ohio.  Carrington is the only North Dakota team in the tourney, and the only Class B team participating.  This year will mark the 14th year of the event held in the University Center-Rochester (UCR) field house.  Morning sessions will begin at 9:00am and afternoon sessions will start at 4:00pm both days.  Visit clashmn.com for more information.

The Cardinals are the defending North Dakota Class B Champs in duals and individuals, and lost only three Senior’s from last years team.
