(NewsDakota.com) The Oakes High School volleyball team ended the 2015 regular season with a three sets to none victory at Kindred Monday night.

The Tornadoes (24-8, 6-1 Class B District 5) won by scores of 25-18, 25-21 and 26-24; rallying in the third set from a 22-24 deficit to complete the sweep.

Oakes had 37 kills, lead by Jordyn Seyer with 14; nine coming in the first set alone.

Oakes will be the #2 seed for the Class B District 5 Volleyball Tournament, which starts Thursday, October 29 at Barnes County North High School. The Tornadoes will face Midkota/Kensal, the #7 seed in the opening round.
