N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A proposed city ordinance that would allow the usage of UTV’s only on Jamestown city streets is set to discussed and voted on at the November 2nd City Council Meeting.
The original proposal, which included the use of ATV’s on city streets, was voted down. The new ordinance was discussed as a first reading during the October Jamestown City Council Meeting. City ordinances currently allow snowmobiles, ATV’s and UTV’s to travel from the owner’s home to rural roads by the most direct route. If the ordinance is passed, UTV’s could be driven anywhere on city streets.
Council members will discuss and vote on the ordinance at the November 2nd meeting.
