N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown’s Police Chief is reminding residents to lock-up valuables and to not give opportunity to burglars.

Chief Scott Edinger with the Jamestown Police Department stated that even though Jamestown is a relatively safe community, burglaries still happen and there are many ways to prevent them.

Chief Edinger pointed out that most burglaries that do happen in the community are the result of opportunity.
