N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Senior running back Jake Heinert rushes in for three touchdowns as the Saints roll past the Titans of Central Dakota 49-6 on Thursday night at the MDU Resources Community Bowl. Central Dakota drops to 2-4 in the AA West and 3-5 overall, the Saints improve to 5-1 in the AA West and 7-1 overall.
The Saints scored seven total touchdowns and seven extra points, they scored the first three touchdowns of the game before the Titans would get on the scoreboard. Late in the first half, Senior Quarterback Jayden Grover connected with Junior Seth Horn for a 21-yard touchdown reception making it 21-6 at the break. The Saints would score four more touchdowns in the second half to secure the victory. Heinert carried the ball 16 times for 186 yards. The longest run of the night came from the Saints Junior Running back Jacob Sheetz in the fourth quarter, he ran in from 80-yards out for the score.
