N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The leaves are on the ground, there’s a chill in the air and that means hunting season is here.
North Dakota Game & Fish Biologist Doug Leier stated that residents have many opportunities to take advantage of the fall weather across the state.
According to the North Dakota Game & Fish has reported brood numbers for 2014 and found that the number is up from last year. More than 78,000 hunters harvested roughly 587,000 roosters in 2014. Biologist Doug Leier stated that numbers are up statewide.
The pheasant season begins this Saturday.
