N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Fraud fighters just completed their training are ready to teach others how to protect themselves against becoming a scam artist victim.

AARP spokeswoman Doreen Riedman said there are so many ways to become a victim and these fraud fighters will be visiting with service clubs, churches and other groups of people across the state.

Riedman said the fraud fighters will soon set up meetings across the state to educate people about some of the tricks that scam artists use to gain confidence and personal information from people.
