CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City State University 2015 Homecoming kicked off with the inauguration of Tisa Mason as the 13th president of the university on October 1st.

On Friday, October 2nd a tree planting ceremony will be held at 1:30pm in front of McFarland Hall to honor Tisa Mason as the 13th president of the university. Followed by an Ice Cream Social and campus tours starting at 2pm in McFarland Hall.

On Friday, at 3pm the Dedication of the Don Mugan Career & Technical Education Leadership Center in the Rhoades Science Center. The public is welcome.

Friday night at 7pm the All Greek & Alumni Reunion Social will be held at the Valley City Eagles Club.

On Saturday, October 3rd Alumni Honors Breakfast in the Student Center Cafeteria at 8:30am.

Homecoming Parade down Central Avenue at 10:30am.

Viking Hall of Fame Tailgating Saturday from 11am to 2pm Lokken Stadium. Then the football game as the Vikings host Mayville State at 2pm Shelley Ellig Field.

A post game Social and Hall of Fame Social and Reunion program from 5pm to 7:30pm at the Valley City Eagles Club.

And then it’s time for the VCSU Student and Alumni Dance starts Saturday night at 9pm at the Eagles Club. No charge to attend the dance.
