N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The long-awaited opening of Shopko in the Central City will be Sunday, October 4th.

After Alco announced they were closing several stores including ones in Oakes, Lisbon, and Carrington, smaller communities were left without that shopping option. Shopko has continued their expansion by building new stores in Oakes and in Carrington.

A grand opening for the Carrington store will be announced at a later date.
