N.D. (NewsDakota.com) As part of the annual Journeying Home Conference, Hospice of the Red River Valley is hosting a free community grief event. On Tuesday, September 29 from 7-9 p.m., Robert Zucker, MA, LCSW, FT, grief counselor, writer, consultant, teacher and public speaker, will present “Grieving in a Life-Goes-On-World.” Participants will explore grief and ways to navigate grief and loss.
The event will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn, 4351 17th Ave. S., Fargo, N.D. It is free and open to the public, no registration required and no CEUs provided.
Zucker is the author of The Journey Through Grief and Loss: Helping Yourself and Your Child When Grief is Shared. He has run various grief support groups, including specialized groups for young widows and widowers, bereaved parents and grandparents, child homicide survivors, bereaved siblings and therapeutic writing workshops for the bereaved of all ages.
