N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a school bus and three semi-trucks collided in dense fog at an intersection near Kindred but there were no serious injuries.

Captain Bryan Niewind tells KFGO that there were about 32 students aboard the bus when the crash occurred about 9 a.m. Friday at the junction of State Highway 46 and Richland County Road 1. Three of the students were injured, but none of the students’ injuries were considered serious.

Rescue crews worked for more than a half hour to free the trapped bus driver.  She was taken by ambulance to a Fargo hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Highway Patrol temporarily closed Highway 46 between Interstate 29 and Kindred as a result of the crash.
