N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Stutsman County United Way is back at it again and has their sights on another lofty goal this year.

Last year, the Stutsman County United way surpassed their goal by raising $222,106.45 to give to local organizations. Publicity Officer Dana Wallace stated that they’ve established their goal for this year’s campaign and hope to reach it as they did a year ago.

Dana pointed out that these funds raised go on to help 19 different local organizations in need in the surrounding area.

The Stutsman County United Way has changed their model and are now focusing on education, income and health. 99% of all funds raised stay local and the kick-off event will take place on tonight at Jack Brown Stadium.
