N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Parents and staff in the Jamestown Public School District attended a meeting at the Jamestown Middle School to address the upcoming $19 million referendum vote coming up at the end of the month.

Superintendent of the Jamestown Public School District Robert Lech headed the meeting and opened that his job was not to stump people, but to inform individuals so they were comfortable with the vote. He stated that the data was compiled from the early enrollment study.

Lech used part of the meeting to address “burning questions” or questions that were most asked. One of those was the need for conditioning. Lech stated that air- conditioning was entirely different than air-cooling.

Other items including the affect on property tax, who could vote, and the updates that would be made were also discussed. You can visit the school’s website for more information.

The vote will be held on September 29th from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
