CITY, ND – (NewsDakota.com) More than million in building permits have been recorded, so far in Valley City.

City Building Inspector Dave Andersen said the Wellness Center, National Guard Maintenance Facility, GrandStay Inn and the Sheyenne Care Center project are the lion share of the construction boom this year in Valley City.

Last year there was more than $12.6 million dollars in new building permits in Valley City. Meanwhile residential and commercial construction approached nearly $5 million dollars in October of 2014 an all-time record in Valley City.
