(NewsDakota.com) Matt Kuipers scored two rushing touchdowns and amassed 124 yards rushing as the Oakes High School football team earned their first victory of the 2015 season with a 20-18 win on Friday night at Cummings Field against the Hornets of Harvey-Wells County. 

Kuipers scored from six yards out with 21 seconds remaining in the first half, and from eight yards away with about four minutes to go in the third quarter.  

The Hornets (1-2) did not do themselves any favors, as they went 0-3 on two point attempts.
