N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With roughly 110 booths and perfect weather, the conditions were right for between 3,000 and 4,000 people to come and attend the Jamestown Community Block Party.
First year students at the University wore orange shirts to identify them to the booth patrons and attendees. With a freshman class of 300 students, there was a sea of orange for a majority of the event. Even though the event is really designated for new students, returning students also made their way to the event.
The annual event is held during the first week of classes at the University to help welcome new students not only to the school, but to the community as well. Click each photo for a larger image.
