N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Jamestown man and woman are being charged with counts of drug abuse and sexual abuse after an incident with a teenage girl.
Police reports show that on August 3rd, they were called to a home after witnesses reported that a fight had broken out. It was learned through investigation that individuals were smoking meth, marijuana and “spice”, a synthetic marijuana, in close proximity of their infant child.
19 year-old Carrie Thu was charged in Southeast District Court in Stutsman County with felony gross sexual imposition and endangerment of a child. If convicted, she could face up to 25 years in prison. 20 year-old Demietrius Daniel Jr. faces two counts of gross sexual imposition and a count of endangerment. He could see up to 45 years in prison if convicted.
Witnesses reported that a fight broke out because Thu was upset that Daniel would not join her in raping a 15 year-old girl staying at her house. Together and separately, Thu and Daniel sexually abused the girl during several occasions. The girl said Daniel first raped her when she was 12 years-old.
