N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Senator John Hoeven’s office has announced several grants from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Development.
Two grants have been awarded totaling $910,000 to Benson County for improvements to the City of Leeds’ sanitary sewer. Also announced was a loan of $330,000 for Stutsman County to help fund the Stutsman Rural Water District capital improvement and expansion project.
“The period of growth we’re experiencing across North Dakota means that we have a greater demand for services in our rural communities,” Hoeven said. “We’ve been working hard to support growth in the rural parts of our state, and these USDA funds will help fund important water system improvements for Benson and Stutsman Counties.” Hoeven stated.
